Hi! It's Tiffany (Tiffany Johnson Creative) and I'm excited to share this mixed media art journal page with you. I jumped into my art journal with some acrylic paint, a plastic gift card, black ink, stencils & stamps from STAMPlorations.
I started out by swiping some neon yellow and white paint onto the page with an old gift card. I dipped the card in both colors and swiped it in alternating directions on the page to create a quick light background.
Using the Art Splatters stencil, I blotted neon orange, blue, and green paint through the stencil with my finger (you could use a cosmetic sponge for a neater option). Moving the stencil around the page & alternating the bright colors created a fun paint splattered look.
Using the Art Marks stamp set, and black ink, I stamped ink splotches, arrows, doodled circles, and the word "Inspire" onto the journal page.
I used the black ink pad and rubbed it lightly around the edges of the page to create a black distressed border around the page.
Using a typewriter font on the computer, I created some word strips to go with the word "inspire" that was stamped on the page earlier. Once I printed them and cut them out, I glued them down in place with a glue stick.
Using a black micron pen, I loosely doodled a border around the word strips and the word "inspire".
"Inspire to play, Inspire to create, Inspire to be free". I hope this page inspires you to play creatively and create something fun in your art time!!!
Many blessings!!!! See you soon!
