{Spotlight Project} Father's Day Cards With Deepti

Hello friends! Deepti here and today I am sharing a couple of cards for Father's Day! I always have shortage of masculine cards and I thought I should focus on those :) I must say I have really enjoyed the gorgeous new Watercolor ATC Journaling Cards. Not only are these simply beautiful but also the heavy card stock makes them so much more desirable. My cards are clean, simple and easy to make. Let me show you...

Step 1 - I picked up two of the ATCs to work with and used the two dies to cut out a star balloon and a gift box.

Step 2 - I then traced these on the card base to define where I would stamp the images

Step 3 - I then stamped the father son and father daughter image in black ink. I did not want the frame from father son stamp so I wiped the edge before stamping. Since the stamped image was not solid enough, I used a sharpie to go over it.

Step 4 - I then added the die cut panels with some dimension. Stamped a couple of hearts and finished with sentiments.

Here is a close up into my cards...

I used Watercolor ATC Journaling Cards - Ephemera, Shaker Balloons #2 Star DiesGift Builder #1 Dies and Sweet And Sassy Dad stamp set.

That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy paper crafting!
