{Spotlight Project} Bloomdala Bliss And Ethnic India With Deepti

Hello friends! Deepti here and welcome to a spotlight feature. Today, I am playing with the newest stamp club set "Bloomdala Bliss" When I saw this stamp first thing that occurred to me was my ethnic Indian sarees. So, I went with that same idea and tried to capture the bright colors and gold in the sarees. I even have sarees in these two shades :) Let me show you...

I have shown a step by step photo tutorial to showcase the process of making this ...

Step 1 - So for this one I took a water color panel and heat embossed the mandala stamp all over to build my background. I embossed one or two mandalas at a time.

Step 2 - I then die cut this panel with edge die to make two panels. Initially, I was planning to use white but then I changed card base to kraft.

Step 3 - I then water colored each panel. I began with the center of the mandala and went outward in lighter tones.

Step 4 - I then embellished each panel with gem stone. I put sequins in purple panel and then changed it to gem stone too.

To finish I heat embossed the sentiments and also adhered a string of gemstones along the cut edges of water colored panels.
