{Spotlight Project} Maria Creates A Spirograph Vibe

Hello there STAMP friends!  I've got a Spotlight tutorial for a fun card using the Stamp Club stamp set, Bloomdala Bliss.  I immediately got a Spirograph (remember those things from your childhood?) vibe from the set when I saw it, so here's what I created doing some "Spirograph stamping".

STEP 1
Gathered my supplies - blue inks, Bloomdala Bliss stamp set, Bloomdala Bliss Felicity dies and a white cardbase.

STEP 2
Roughly laid out three stamps and stamped them with dark blue. Notice I opted for acrylic blocks rather than the MISTI. Since I was going to be adding additional stamped layers, I decided speed outweighed perfect coverage ;)

STEP 3
Now for the Spirograph part. I stamped the same image with medium blue, keeping the image centers aligned but rotating the "petals".

STEP 4
Added three more images in the same manner, but this time using medium blue and then light blue for the second layer. In the close up you can see how I aligned but rotated the images for the second layer.

STEP 5
Using medium and light blue ink I added one more larger image to the center to fill the empty space and create an uneven number of images, and then placed my die cut Bloomdala.

After that I finished up the card by adding my sentiment gold heat embossed onto a punched circle. And I found a snippet of envelope liner in my scraps to add along the bottom edge. That's all folks! Hope you enjoyed today's tutorial.

Thanks for looking. And should you find yourself placing an order soon, I'd love it if you used my STAMPGIRLMARIA code for an additional 20% off!
