{Sticker Monday} Unique Backgrounds to Make Stickers Shine

Happy Monday, STAMPlorations friends! We hope you're all continuing to stay well and practice social distancing. We're back with Sticker Monday. Every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, the STAMPgirls will be sharing projects showcasing our line of fun clear stickers. And every month, we'll draw one lucky crafter to win a $15 gift code -- randomly drawn from all comments left on the Sticker Monday posts for the month, as well as from the featured designer's blog.

Today, STAMPgirl Deepti is sharing three cards whose stunning backgrounds make stickers shine!

Hello friends! I am back with my Sticker Monday feature and today I am sharing how unique backgrounds can make these gorgeous stickers shine. I made three cards with the same but unique designs. I used the Love Is clear stickers.

For these cards, I wanted to make a focal piece with similar colors but a unique design :) I worked with a small focal die cut panel and used pure and simple stenciling on one, stamping on another, and ink blending with ghosting on the third :)

Card #1

Stenciling can look so amazing when the stencil is fantastic :) what do you think?!!!

Card #2

You know about my obsession with Distress Oxide inks and they work great for solid stamping. I created a gradient with a combinations of inks using a butterfly stamp.

Card #3

As you can see, here I simply ink blended and then used a stencil, sprayed it with water and stamped on inked panel to achieve the subtle effect :) To add more interest I added dry embossed backgrounds for my focal panels.

I hope you like the cards I created and that I inspired you to try stickers on your projects.

Besides the stickers, I used the following STAMPlorations products: All Blooms stencil, Trendy Butterflies, Scaly stencil, ATC Tag Builder dies, and Art Edges dies

Thank you soooooo much for all your lovely comments. Love reading them!
