{Spotlight Project} Monika Creates 3 Cards Using a Fun Background Technique!

Hi, everyone. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. This is a quick post from me today as a result of some playtime before the festive season where I played with my small ColorBox pigment inks and some stamps. They arrived through the post the week before Christmas, and I couldn't help but playing. Here are the two cards I made using the Distressed Damask Background and the Distressed Floral Swirls plus a couple of stamps to keep you looking forward to the New Year.

{Spotlight Project} Shery Shares A Fun Background Technique

Hello, fellow stampers! Yes, it's me again -- I hope you don't mind seeing me here two days in a row. I'm actually covering for Cornelia and Shirley. They'll be back in a couple of weeks to share their fun projects. In the meantime, ya'll are stuck with me...for one more day at least ;o)

Here's a card I whipped up this morning using one of the stamps in the Typografia set. I turned to one of my favorite techniques for creating backgrounds. I love this technique because it's easy and quick. I used the Distressed Damask Background along with an embossing folder.
