STAMPlorations and the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop + New Coffee Stamps & Dies + Comment to Win

Heads up, STAMPlorations friends! There's a fun blog hop starting today for those of us who love or enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea or chocolate)! The hop is hosted by Amy Tsuruta and Chaitali Narla.

Amy and Chaitali have invited lots of sponsors for the hop, including STAMPlorations, who are offering tons of fabulous prizes! Play along by creating a spring-themed project featuring coffee, tea and/or cocoa images. Post it on your blog and then link it up at the linky found on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog. The linky is open until Friday, March 31. Winners of sponsor prizes will be randomly drawn! (Psst! Keep scrolling for a free digi stamp you can use in your projects!)

Link up your spring-themed coffee, tea, and/or cocoa card(s) here

Check out the spring-themed coffee projects that the STAMPlorations girls made! Click on the forward and back arrows to scroll through the collection. Clicking on a photo will open a new window (or tab) and take you to the designer's blog where you can read more about their process. Many of them created more than one project so make sure to visit their blogs for more spring-time coffee inspiration! (And if you leave a comment here and on their blogs, you may just win one of the blog candies we have in this post.)

BLOG CANDY ALERT!

Guess what? We will randomly pick THREE (3) coffee- (or tea- or chocolate-) loving crafters to win a few more prizes: one will win a $10 gift certificate to the store, one will win her choice of 4x4 stamp set (A Cup of Roses, Bloomin' Spring Coffee Basket, Brew-tiful Day, or Rise & Grind), and one will win her choice of any 2 coffee word/phrase dies (Hug in a mug, It's a brew-tiful day, Java great day, Rise & grind, Thanks a latte). Simply leave a comment on this post by 11:59 p.m. Monday, April 3. Easy peasy! Winners will be announced in our March Challenges and Blog Hops winners post on April 10 so make sure to follow our blog so you don't miss that post.

And here's that free digi stamp you can use to create coffee projects to link up to the Spring Coffee Lovers blog hop for even more chances at the sponsor prizes. It's the digi stamp we currently offer on our Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge page. If you use the image, be sure to link up your project there too because we draw two winners of gift certificates or stamp sets whenever we reach entries in multiples of 50 (we're at 1,471 entries and counting).

{Spotlight Project} Shirley's On The Tiles

I've had this idea in my head for the cup image in Brew-Tiful Day ever since I designed it. I wanted to make travertine tile coasters with it, with each cup having a different coloured highlight. I got there, but not without a few issues.

{Spotlight Project} Becca Creates a Scene

I was thinking about some of the images in the 5x7 stamp club sets and have always wondered what I should do with the outhouse in the Country Rustic set. Clearly it was made for humor (ok, ok, I think practically everything was meant to be turned into something funny.) Well, I was sitting at my craft table staring at a blank sheet of paper and BLAM my brain cleared itself of its constipation.

I'm not even sorry for that crappy joke.

{Inspiration Project Post #124}

Hello STAMPlorations Friends! It's Tuesday again, and this week we are showcasing stamps designed by our very own Deepti under her label Dee's Artsy Impressions.

The Inspiration Girls have been busy creating projects using Deepti's sets. What can I say? There is a distinct feeling of Spring in the air.

All of Deepti's stamp sets will be on sale for the week - no coupon needed; the discount is automatically applied. And if you happen to have a coupon code, such as a personal discount code for being a stamp club subscriber, you can use the code to get an even better deal.

All of Deepti's stamp sets will be reduced by 10% except for the Power Of Words set of sentiments with coordinating doodles which will be 20% off until March 27.

We'll still randomly draw a winner from all the comments left on our Inspiration Posts, so have a look and leave a comment for your entry to win a $10 gift certificate to the store.

{Mixed Media Tutorial} Monika Makes a Sunflower Canvas

Hello Crafty Friends! I am back today with another canvas to share. It is a little more complex than last month's, and I can assure you, it doesn't look anything like what I had in mind.
That's the beauty and challenge of Mixed Media, trusting the process when projects take on a life of their own.
