Wonderful Wednesday Coloring #6 by Guest Designers Gloria, Lee Ann, and Nonni + Comment to Win!

Happy Wednesday, STAMPlorations friends! We're back with the sixth installment of Wonderful Wednesday Coloring, a special feature while the regular STAMPgirls are on a break this summer. Since July, our guest designers have been sharing their gorgeous projects featuring STAMPlorations images -- colored expertly!

Our
super talented guest designers -- GloriaLee Ann, and Nonni -- are back with their last batch of projects showcasing STAMPlorations stamps with their incredible coloring skills. Their fabulous creations are guaranteed to inspire and get you in the mood to color! It wasn't too long ago that we were wowed by their cards in the first Wonderful Wednesday Coloring featured post. I'm so grateful to these ladies for sharing their time and talent for the last 3 months.

Comment here and on our guest designers' personal blogs for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the STAMPlorations store. We'll announce the winner in the September Winners post on October 10.

GLORIA HAYOUNG LEE

STAMPlorations products Gloria used:
Floral BlissThe Birds and the Blooms

I stamped the flower using masking technique and colored with Copic makers and color pencils.

*****

To create this card, I stamped the beautiful flowers on the white card stock, colored with Copic markers and colored pencils and fussy cut them with my Cutter Bee scissors.

*****

I stamped the blossom using tattered rose distress ink for no-line watercoloring and colored with Kuretake watercolors.

*****

LEE ANN BARRETT

STAMPlorations products Lee Ann used:

Pumpkin image is colored with Copics and the background is watercolored. On top of that , florishes are stenciled with clear embossing paste.

*****

The oriole was colored with Copic markers.

*****

Used masking and no line Copic coloring.

NONNI NISKANEN

STAMPlorations products Nonni used:
Holiday Sketches: Christmas Candles (retired), Let It Snow, Blossom Sprays #3Blossom Sprays #1

A good quality pencil sharpener is essential for coloring with colored pencils! You'll want your pencils to be super sharp to be able to fit the small areas in your heat embossing!

Close up of the shine on the image!

I've heat embossed the candle image with gold powder and colored in with Polychromos pencils. I added lots of Stickles and Wink of Stella.

*****

Coloring in with pencils happens in layers. A finished area might have up to 6 layers of color (haven't really counted ever, sorry!). In the bottom you can see a petal with just one layer.

I've colored in the white heat embossed images with Polychromos pencils.

*****

I've water colored the flower and added pencil (blended with Dove blender pen) on top.

And if you want a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the STAMPlorations store, leave a comment here and on our guest designers' blogs by Tuesday, October 9. We'll announce the winner in the September Winners post on October 10.
