{Spotlight Project} Deepti Creates CAS Cards Using Intricate Floral Dies

Hello friends! Deepti here and welcome to my Spotlight feature. Today I am focusing on making use of the delicate floral dies. I have used them with some dimension and also shared two ways to add color to my designs. I had fun creating these :) Let me show you...

Step 1 - I took two white panels and figured out how I wanted my floral dies arranged and then I simply die cut the two panels in a combination of flowers and leaves.

Step 2 - Once my die cutting was done, I adhered a transparency as a backing for the negative space left from die cutting the panel.

Step 3 - I then adhered the intricate floral die cuts over the transparency filling the negative space yet creating a window.

Step 4 - To add color to the floral windows I decided to opt two methods... one was to simply add a colorful patterned paper and other was to add a watercolor wash background for the flowers and the leaves.

Step 5 - I my final step I added dimension to the white panel and adhered it over to the colorful panels. Simple designs but with just the right amount of color :)

To finish, I stamped the sentiments. Here is a closeup into the cards...
