For her final Throwback Thursday post, Angie is sharing cards inspired by a card by STAMPgirl Shirley.

Have a look at Angie's cards:

Hello and welcome! It's Angie here with my final Throwback Thursday guest design spot for STAMPlorations! Throwback Thursday means time to look back at a design team member's card that you really love and use it for your inspiration!

I chose this card by designer Shirley Bampton from this post HERE.

I just love smooshed backgrounds so I made 3 cards in this style ranging from very pastel to bold!

My first card used Evergreen Bough and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks and water to create this light and airy look. I smooshed all cards on watercolor paper and this card has the Blossom Spray #1 stamp with a sentiment from Hello Coffee.

My second card uses the exact same stamps, the difference is I used Worn Lipstick and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Inks and not quite as much water for a darker look:

Here's another look:

Both of the above card have added "Dragonfly Fairy Sugar" from Memory Box on the buds and flower centers plus I added black marker dots all around the edges and rounded 3 of the 4 corners of the card.

And for my last card I went really bold with my smooshing colors of ink. I used Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, and Fossilized Amber and very little water.

The floral image on this card is called Floral Bliss Trio and the sentiment is from Subway Art Dare and Create digital stamp set

My digital sentiment was printed with the colors reversed. I use Pages on my MacBook with digital stamps and to get it this way, I duplicate the stamp and then pull up my "Tools" and reverse the colors by sliding the sliders in the "adjust color" tool to opposite sides and then save the image that way.  This card also has lots of black marker dots around the edges of the stamped image and the same Fairy Sugar on the flowers.

Here's one last look:

And there you have it, my final 'Throwback Thursday" guest post!
