Stamping in Style: Monika's Artistic Storage Solution

Hello, STAMPfriends! Today we have a wonderful piece of inspiration from Monika, who has turned a practical storage item into a beautiful work of art. Using papers from the Artistic Crafter's Collage Paper collection, she transformed a simple chipboard holder into the perfect home for her favorite STAMPlorations stamps.

Monika's project features a stunning mix of textures and colors. The front of the holder showcases the Zinnia Row stamp, crisp and bold in black ink and meticulously colored with vibrant alcohol markers in shades of deep pink and fuchsia. Small pink and iridescent sequins add a touch of sparkle across the floral border.

Accenting the floral design is a beautiful, fussy-cut butterfly with striking green and purple wings, appearing as if it's just landed on the flowers. The background uses papers from the Ephemeral Edges and Alpha-Chroma collections, providing a rich, layered aesthetic with vintage-style script and document-inspired patterns.

Why We Love This Project
  • Functional Beauty: It turns everyday craft organization into a decorative display piece.

  • Seamless Integration: The way the zinnia row fits the width of the holder creates a perfect, cohesive border.

  • Texture & Depth: The combination of collage paper, stamped images, and 3D elements like sequins and the butterfly gives the holder incredible visual interest.
Monika’s process involved careful tracing, sanding for a snug fit, and delicate ink blending to finish the edges. To see her full step-by-step process and discover more photos of this gorgeous project, visit Monika's blog post here.
