{Stencil Sunday} Celebration Cards with Sue

Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! It's time for a fresh batch of stencil inspiration this month. You'll get to see projects that show off how to creatively use ARTplorations stencils. And each month, we'll pick one winner of a $15 gift code -- the winner will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts for the month, as well as from the designers' blogs.

STAMPgirl Sue used two stencils to create to different celebration cards.

  

Here's Sue with her projects:

Supplies used: Oh My Stars! stencil, Tweet Love

Onto black cardstock, I used a Sakura Clear Star gelly pen and outlined the stars using the stencil. I then applied clear glitter Wink of Stella. Some of the glitter spread - like we know glitter can do! For the sentiment, I stamped it onto a scrap of light gray cardstock and cut a fish tale banner. I used the same light gray cardstock for the cardbase.

Supplies used: Tapestry stencil, Birthday Word Art clear stickers

I adhered the stencil to a white A2 card panel with post-it tape to prevent it from shifting. I used another longer piece of post-it tape as a mask to help to contain each color stripe to about 0.5". I tried blending the colors - some colors were more successful than others. I needed something simpler for the sentiment to balance all the color. I used a clear birthday sticker applied to black cardstock to complete the card.
