Here's a more detailed look at Jane's and Tanja's projects:
JANE'S THINGS WITH WINGS
Hello, I am back with the 3rd of my 4 "Things with wings" specials. For my last post in December I used lots of texture and mixed media for my cards. Where I live in the UK we are hopefully looking forward to more spring like days so for this month's post I went with some more clean and simple designs.
For my first card I used these fab STAMP products: Gorgeous stencil, Grateful flutters stamp set, and a sentiment from the birthday bash stamp set.
I stenciled the face --
-- and added stamped and paper pieced butterflies
to make this card:
For my second card I worked with these lovelies: Fluttery butterfly stamps and the Magic, say it big sentiment stamp.
I made an Infusions inky background --
-- and coloured the butterflies with watercolour markers
and made this card:
If you would like to see a full step by step of how I made these cards please do drop by my blog here where a very warm welcome awaits you.
I will be back with my last Things with wings special for 2020 on April 20th.
Bye for now,
Bye for now,

TANJA'S THINGS WITH WINGS
It's Tanja and this is my third Things with Wings Special Feature Project Post for STAMPlorations:
- stamp some texture onto a square piece of cardstock using elements from the Scribbly Splattery Grunge set with Distress Oxide Ink (Scattered Straw, Broken China) and Archival Ink Watering Can
- ink up the edges with Distress Oxide Ink Seedless Preserves and apply that same color through the Rag Rug stencil
- cut out the Relax word die four times and glue the letters on top of each other - cover each letter with Nuvo Crystal Glaze
- cut out the circle from the Coffee Petites set from the center of the square and add burlap behind the opening
- cut out the solid Flutter Zen 1 butterfly die from black cardstock and run it through your Big Shot with an embossing folder
- adhere the butterfly on top of some natural twine
- cut out the Butterfly Cover Plate from smooth white cardstock
- create a rainbow background using Distress Oxide Inks (Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet)
- add more texture with some water droplets
- glue the cover plate on top of the background before adhering all the layers to a cardbase
- stamp the sentiment from the Trendy Butterflies 2 set with Versafine Onyx Black
I hope you got inspired.
Hugs,
*****
