August CAS Card Challenge + A GDT Call

Hey there, STAMPlorations friends! Thank you to all who played in last month's challenge and created some of the best CAS cards we've seen! There were lots of beautiful CAS cards in the gallery and we will announce the winner and top picks on Sunday.

Before we get on to this month's challenge, we're having a GDT call. The gig is for 3 months (October to December). Apply by Monday, August 22. Details are here.

And one more thing: Don't forget to join in on some coloring fun we're hosting here to celebrate National Coloring Book Day. Download the free Color Blooms page sampler here. It's available until Sunday, August 7 :o)

Now let's get the August Challenge started! Our CAS Card Challenge is pretty simple: it's straightforward anything CAS goes with the optional color twist. Create a clean and simple card with or without the color we've picked to include. And for August, gold is the optional color twist. (You can use other colors with gold.)

When linking up, please follow these simple rules: (complete list of rules is here)
  • Link up to 3 entries and link up to as many other challenges as you want.
  • Non-STAMPlorations products are OK (although please don't link up a project you've created for the sole purpose of promoting another company; those projects will be deleted or will not be considered in the running for winner or top pick.)
  • To qualify for our prizes, you must display the challenge graphic in your blog post. (This is not required if you're linking from online galleries like Splitcoast, Flickr, or Pinterest.)
  • Link back to this challenge post (not just our main blog) to encourage others to play too.

We're excited to have a guest designer who creates some of the best CAS cards around. Not only that, her cards beautifully showcase STAMPlorations products. Please welcome Carol Mayne of Just Me: c. Please check out Carol's blog. We promise you will not be disappointed!

So how about you show us your CAS cards with or without the color twist? The linky is open until the end of the month and you can enter up to 3 cards with or without the color twist. You're not required to use STAMPlorations products (although we're always thrilled to see projects made with them). For the full challenge rules, click here. The CAS girls will be back in two weeks to share more CAS cards for this month's challenge.
