{Stencil Sunday} Tenia Creates Trendy Stenciled Cards

Happy Sunday, STAMPlorations friends! We are back with another helping of Stencil Sunday goodness! On the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sunday of the month, the STAMPgirls are sharing their projects that show off how to creatively use ARTplorations stencils. And each month, we'll pick one winner of a $15 gift code -- the winner will be drawn from all comments left on the Stencil Sunday posts for the month, as well as from the designers' blogs.

Kicking off this month's Stencil Sunday feature is STAMPgirl Tenia, who played with three of our older stencils + a CUTplorations word die to create two lovely cards in Tenia's signature style.

Here's Tenia with her projects:

I used the Hello & Company and Vintage Dresses stencils to create this card.

On the image panel I used the Vintage Dresses stencil and pigment inks. After I stenciled the image I heat embossed it. I added splatter, a bow, washi tape and the "Friend" sentiment onto image panel.
Then I stenciled "HI" using a distress marker and Hello & Company stencil. I circle punched out the sentiment and added onto the image panel. I adhered the image panel onto a card.

I created the image panel using the Just Squares stencil and gold pigment ink. Then I added splatters and embellishments on the image panel. I die-cut  you will need to add splatter and embellishmenst onto image panel. Die cut the Bravo word about 4 times and adhered them all together before adhering onto image panel.

Tenia's card are so trendy! For a chance to win a $15 gift code to the STAMPlorations store, leave a comment here and on Tenia's blog by July 5. We'll announce the winner in the June winners post on July 10.

Did you enjoy today's featured post? Stencil Sunday will be back next week with 4 projects from STAMPgirl Maria so you won't want to miss that post!

  1. Thanks for the stencil inspiration! Beautiful cards!

  2. Tenia made some beautiful cards using your gorgeous stencils!

  3. Gorgeous cards! I love that dress; very classy card.

  4. I like the bow on the pretty dress and the gold stenciled background on the second card.

  5. OMG...Tenia...Both your stenciled cards are so artsy and creative, my friend. I have added more stencils to my wishlist. TFS and ALWAYS inspiring!!! Hugs...

  6. Oooooo I love that fun square stencil! That dress is great! THanks for sharing!

  7. Like how these stencils were used...the added ribbon to the first design is a delightful touch. tfs

  8. I'm new to stencils but these cards turned out really nice...
Well done Tenia and thank you for sharing your ideas.

  9. Great cards! Love your use of stencils, perfect!

  10. Great cards! Like that you used two shades of blue for the dress and the bow is a great finishing touch. The piece of black and white under the stacked die cut is perfect!

  11. I was surprised to read that you used pigment inks on your stenciling. Seems like I usually see dye inks used. I like the more saturated colors that you get with pigment ink.

  12. Fun cards! I particularly love the second one.

  13. Oooh, I think I need to go look at your stencils again because I've never seen that dress design. Love all the fun ways to use stencils on a project.

  14. These are so cool; and super trendy!! Would never have guessed these cards were made with stencils.
