{Special Post} STAMPlorations at Time Out Challenges - Reminder + Comment to Win!

Hey, STAMPlorations friends! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas if you celebrated it. I'm back with another card for Time Out Challenges, as STAMPlorations is sponsoring. There is still a week left to link up if you want to play. Make sure you read through to the end and answer a simple question for a chance at an extra prize I'm offering just for those who leave a comment on this post.

You can use one or some of the words as the basis for your project. I went with another one layer card and focused on the word "life".

Took out my 5x7 gel press plate and brayered yellow and orange paints. I placed my die-cut sentiment (Life is Good phrase die) on the plate and stamped the large daffodils and butterflies to lift the paint. I placed my card base over the plate and pulled the first print. The second print usually comes out much better and more artsy than the first and this is what I used for my card. I selectively stamped over some of the images, as well as added faux texture with grunge/texture stamps from the Mixed Media Grunge and Mixed Media Elements sets.

Check out the reminder cards that the TO team made here and then come play with us by linking your creations here! The winner (voted by the design team) will receive a $15 gift certificate to spend on the STAMPlorations store and another winner (randomly drawn) will receive a goodie bag containing at least $20 worth of STAMPlorations products.

And now here's that simple question: What makes your life good? Comment below by Tuesday, January 8, and I will randomly pick one winner of a $15 gift certificate to the store. The winner will be announced on January 10 in the December winners post.

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to smile :o)

PS: Only a few days left in our December storewide sale! You can snag stamps, stencils, and dies (excluding products in the New Release section) at 30% off -- but it all ends on December 31! Use coupon code DECEMBER2018 on checkout. Shop here.

  4. My family always makes my life good! I love seeing my two girls grow and enjoy life, and my husband does everything he can to keep us safe and happy. We have an extra blessing this year, with the birth of our third child (a boy this time) and my heart is just so full of appreciation for everything that we have.

  16. CHEERY card - it makes me SMILE :)

My family and friends make life good ... sadly most are far, far, away, so having a phone makes keeping in touch easy. The icing-on-my-cake is being able to create cards to share with them all :)

  22. Wow, what an awesome card front, I thought at first it was a canvas to hang! Love how you used the die on the gelli plate. Well, my life is very good because I'm not crippled yet from my 5 arthritis's (15 years with it and counting!), I have a loving family and caring friends, our finances are good and my recently retired husband and I have not killed each yet and I just knew one of us would be on death row by now, lol. In fact, we are happily adjusting well to being together 24/7 - who knew? Oh, and I get to do my art which is my therapy as well as my hobby. I just wish I could lose some weight. ;-) xoxo
