{Spotlight Project} Brushstrokes with Deepti!

Hello, friends! Deepti here and welcome to another spotlight feature. The new stamp club set, Life in Full Color, has some of the fabulous sentiments, which gave me the idea for these cards. Also since this set is all artsy, I decided to do brush strokes. Unfortunately, I cannot show how I did the brushstrokes as I still have to work on my video tutorial thing. Ah! perhaps someday...

Anyways here is my card set:

Step 1
I diecut the rectangles from watercolor cardstock and stamped the sentiments.

Step 2
Then I mixed colors to make the peach color and did brush stokes in circular motion at one corner and then I mixed gray tones to make vertical strokes on the other panel.

You can achieve the similar effect using the brush stroke stamps :)

Here's how my cards look on closeup...

I have used Life in Full Color (October 2016) and Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

That finishes my spotlight feature :) I hope you enjoyed it and will give this a try. Happy paper crafting!

On another note, I've been trying to reach Shery but I'm not sure my emails are making it to her.
