{Spotlight Project} Feathery Delights by Amy
[Note: This month, we have several STAMPlorations girls guest designing and joining the regular Spotlight Project girls and sharing more awesome step-by-step projects that feature our 5x7 stamp club sets. We hope you get even more inspired!]
Hello and happy Wednesday Crafty Friends, today I'm here with CAS "Feathery Delights"
using the Feathery stamp set and matching dies.
To start, I stamped and embossed the large and small peacock feathers from the Feathery stamp set onto vellum in different hues of pink, blue and gold embossing powders.
I then used the matching dies to cut out the feathers from the vellum.
Aren't they ADORABLE?? :oD
I then tied my feathers together using twine a few drops of glossy accents where the feathers overlap.
I embossed sentiments from the Feathery set in gold embossing powder to tie in the gold of the smaller peacock feathers on to white cardstock panels. I then added a bit of interest to my background with a text stamp.
I adhered my panels to a kraft card base (4 1/2 x 5 1/2) and attached the feathers using a bit of Scor-tape. Some Nuvo Drops finished off my Feathery Delights. :o)
Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope I've inspired you to emboss/stamp on vellum and get crafty today! Oh and don't forget if you use code STAMPGIRLAMY you can get 20% off your purchase at the STAMPlorations store!
