{Spotlight Project} Shirley Makes Christmas Shoe Cards

Isn't it great when you can use non-Christmas stamps to make Christmas cards, and vice versa?

All you need for some festive shoes are Christmas colours, a Christmas sentiment and some embellishments. You could use die-cuts, cut your own shapes or use ready-made embellishments. For these two cards I used some die-cut holly and coloured it with markers.

And you've already seen this card on the Inspiration #109 post, where I used baker's twine and pompoms.

These cards went to some old friends from our teenage years - I'm talking late 60s/early 70s, when we used to wear these styles of shoes, so the cards were very appropriate!

Take another look at your stamps, you might find other uses for them.
