{Spotlight Project} Life in Full Color Cards by Lisa

[Note: This month, we have several STAMPlorations girls guest designing and joining the regular Spotlight Project girls and sharing more awesome step-by-step projects that feature our 5x7 stamp club sets. We hope you get even more inspired!]

Hello crafty friends! It's Lisa Lahiff here with a second spotlight on the fun artsy set called Life in Full Color. This set has a lot of fantastic sentiments in it that can be used with other STAMPlorations products to create beautiful works of art. I am specifically using this set with two of the beautiful floral stencils called: Peony No. 1 and Peony No. 2.

To create this card I started by going over the stencil with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder. Next I worked from the top of the panel down with Distress Ink to create an ombre background. Finally, I added the sentiment from the Life in Full Color Stamp Set in the lower right corner.

My next card is a little more detailed as I added my own coloring to it with colored pencils...

This stencil is large and beautiful on its own, but I found it fun to add in more depth by going over my stenciled flowers with colored pencils. When the flower was finished I added the perfect coloring sentiment to the upper left hand corner this time with a matching purple ink. I then added a blue background with Distress Oxide Ink.

I hope this has given you some ideas on how to mix and match your STAMPlorations products as I have done here with the Life in Full Color Set.

Happy Crafting!
Lisa
